Tuklio Company · MARKET NOTE
A price gap is a clue—not yet a business
A product can look inexpensive in one country and expensive in another. That difference deserves investigation, but the shelf price alone does not show whether a workable opportunity exists.
4 MIN READCheck whether people actually want it
A high listing price can mean strong demand, limited supply, or simply that few units sell. Reviews, repeat purchases, search behaviour, and small paid tests are more useful than price alone.
Build the landed cost
Add product cost, local transport, international freight, duties and taxes, inspection or registration, packaging, payment fees, losses, and domestic delivery.
Check whether the process can repeat
One discounted purchase or one suitcase may create a temporary margin. A business needs reliable supply, adequate shelf life, consistent documentation, and a lawful route that works again.
Decide what value Tuklio adds
The strongest opportunity is not always resale. Market feedback, supplier preparation, product localisation, buyer introductions, and carefully designed bundles may create more durable value.
